In 1969 a group of contractors formed the Jacksonville Air Conditioning Contractors Association (JACCA) to come together for a common purpose of curbing the influx of unqualified HVAC contractors and technicians. Today, this association is known as the North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NFACCA).

The Association works hard to better the HVAC industry by representing best interests on legislation and local issues.  This is accomplished by joining the efforts of the Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) and other Florida Chapters.

The accomplishments of the Association are many and the list continues to grow.  From the recognition of Journeymen’s licenses from county to county to combating the current situation with FPL “going beyond the meter” in South Florida.  NFACCA’s involvement will ensure that if JEA is privatized, they will not be able to act in the same manner, which could potentially crush small business owners.

The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association is here to work for you.  We continue to grow as more and more contractors join the efforts to save the HVAC industry as we know it today.
